The Legend Of Brigadoon

At the Inaugural meeting of Ye Enchanted Krewe of Brigadoon, prior to the official commencement, those present were treated to a performance of the legend by Jimi Lynch.

In Brigadoon's enchanted greens
Where softness tames life's din
Come to know what it means
To love the life you're in.

Amid the shady groves whose steady songs
Can cocoon even bashful lovers
Reminds that each to each belongs
Private magic love discovers.

The starry night above our bed
Fluffs up those shy emotions
The passing moonlight o'er our heads
Can rival puck his potions.

In Brigadoon's enchanted greens
Where softness tames life's din
Come to know what it means
To love the life you're in.

Brigadoon is an enchanted village that appears for one day every 100 years.  But, if any one of the village ever leaves this place, it will vanish forever.

It takes visitors, Yes.  Would you like to be one?  If so say "AYE"

You may so embark on the journey to be such a visitor.  You may undertake this quest.

But remember, if you leave, Brigadoon will vanish forever.

Be forewarned, a stranger can stay if and only if he loves someone in the town enough, or if he loves the village so much that he is ready to lose everything from the mundane world.

Brigadoon be ye mystery, a home, a place, an entity
Oh winged dragon
Take wing, take wing and fly away
We send thee on ahead
To the lands of little known
And with you goes our very best.
