The Countdown has Begun: Less than Two Weeks until the
Krewe of Brigadoon Kickball Tournament

Tampa , FL - May 10, 2005 - The first Krewe of Brigadoon kickball tournament is being held in less than two weeks. Join us on May 21st from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Krewe of Brigadoon Kickball Tournament at Gadsen Park at 6901 South MacDill Avenue and at SW Park at 7506 South Morton Avenue in Tampa . All profits will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Sarasota/Tampa Bay, Inc. Brigadoon's goal is to raise more than $2,500 so that we can fulfill a wish in its entirety.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation®
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® is the largest wish-granting organization in the world, with 74 chapters in the United States and its territories and 28 international affiliates on five continents. Somewhere in the world, every hour of every day, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants a wish to a child with a life-threatening medical condition. The Make-A-Wish Foundation serves every local community in the United States and has chapters in the territories of Guam and Puerto Rico.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Sarasota/Tampa Bay, Inc. was formed in 1986. They are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. This chapter covers a nine county territory including:  Hernando, Pasco , Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota , Charlotte , Hardee and DeSoto.  In fiscal year 2004, they granted 129 wishes. They currently have about 51 pending wishes. The Tournament
There will be sixteen teams of ten players competing for first place and a trophy. Food, t-shirts, and goodie bags will be provided to the teams. The cost is $300 per team. The Refreshments
Refreshments for the participants during the tournament will be provided by:

Breakfast sandwiches and hash browns will be provided by

The Deck is providing Pizza for lunch.
The Deck Pizza & Pub is located on 2202 West Platt Street in Tampa.

Camden Preserve is providing bottled water for participants.

Image Depot is providing shirts.
Their address is 2017 East Fowler Avenue in Tampa.

With your admission to the tournament, you will also receive a wristband that will allow you to receive drink specials at Elmer's  Sports Cafe after the game.  Elmer's is located conveniently close to Gadsden Park . Their address is 5206 South MacDill Avenue in Tampa.

About Ye Enchanted Krewe of Brigadoon

Mission : Ye Enchanted Krewe of Brigadoon was formed by many, not one: to encourage and facilitate camaraderie and fellowship by providing and opportunity to support charity organizations and to participate in local parades.
