Announcing Tampa 's Newest Addition

Tampa , FL - January 8, 2005 - Ye Enchanted Krewe of Brigadoon held its initiation in April of 2004 and has been working all year to establish themselves in the Tampa Krewe system.

Elections were held and they have established several committees within their organization. Along with eight chieftains, the Board consists of the following elected officials:

President - Chief Scott Sestak
Treasurer - Tacksman Kristina Keane
Secretary - Barb Christina Schaefer

Committees include:

•  Costume
•  Elections
•  Float
•  Mediation
•  Membership
•  Parade
•  Philanthropy
•  Public Relations
•  Social

This year, they produced a krewe brochure to introduce themselves to the community. It is filled with facts, photos, and statistics about the krewe. In addition, they have published two of their quarterly newsletters, The Dragon Tales. Each of these is available on their website at www.dragonkrewe.org.

Most importantly, they have participated in several charity events and they have made contributions to the following organizations:

•  Meals on Wheels of Tampa
•  Hillsborough County School System
•  Metropolitan Ministries
•  Humane Society of Tampa Bay
•  Hurricane victim aid groups
•  Coastal cleanup groups
•  The Spring
•  God's Pedal Power Ministry

About Ye Enchanted Krewe of Brigadoon

Mission : Ye Enchanted Krewe of Brigadoon was formed by many, not one: to encourage and facilitate camaraderie and fellowship by providing and opportunity to support charity organizations and to participate in local parades.

Toast: In Days of Old when Knights were Bold and Dragons they did Fly, from a Highland Moon came Brigadoon, and Beads now fill the Sky!

Goals: To encourage camaraderie by supporting charity organizations and by participating in local parades.

Member Description: Our members are a group of dedicated individuals from all walks of life. We have and encourage a diverse culture and embrace all active people in the Tampa Bay area

Charities: Metropolitan Ministries, Humane Society of Tampa Bay, Meals on Wheels of Tampa, Hillsborough County Schools, various Hurricane Relief organizations.
