Float Work Days - January 2005

Come help finish the Float before Gasparilla.

Float committee and all Citizens of Brigadoon,

Gasparilla is fast approaching. Now that we are in the Day Parade
as Brigadoon we need to present an award winning float.

Most of the major construction is done. Now we need to concentrate on the
finish work.

Bring power tools, and hand tools.
Some of the many jobs to be finished include:
Finishing the Bar, The lower portion of the rolling hills, The bathrooms,
Fleshing out the dragons wings, Fixing the thatch on the top of the
Village, Creating the appearance of a bridge on the stairs into the float,
Wiring a 12 volt system to power the dragons eye's and charge the batteries that
power the sound system, Adding a power panel for the generator to plug
into, Adding lighting to make a better presentation for the Knight parade.
If you want to work on one of these jobs or have any materials that may be
useful let me know or just showup and help.
There is still lots of painting to be done.

The work days are scheduled at 10am on 01/08/04, 01/09/04, 01/15/04,
01/16/04 at Trick Fabrication

Directions :
From the intersection of Dale Mabry and MLK (Legends field and RayJay
Stadium) Head west on MLK (toward the airport) turn right on Hubert proceed
north through two stop signs. Trick Fabrication will be on your left. Look
for the white chain link gate with the dragon behind it.
